Transparency in the sub-second world. Discover exactly how BizzBuzz uses local storage and cookies to power the Conversation OS, cross-channel identity, and core platform security.
1. Introduction
BizzBuzz is engineered to provide a seamless omni-channel support and marketing experience. To achieve this, we rely on cookies, web beacons, and local storage technologies. These tools are not just for tracking; they are fundamental to how our real-time synchronization, AI processing, and unified customer identities function.
2. Essential Platform Operations
These cookies are strictly necessary for the BizzBuzz dashboard (hosted on Convex) to function securely. You cannot opt out of these cookies as they are required for core architecture handling.
We use Clerk for secure identity management. Clerk sets cookies to maintain your active login session, authenticate API requests to our Convex backend, and protect against Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attacks.

__clerk_db_jwt: Stores your active JSON Web Token. - ▹
__client_uat: Used to verify user activity timestamps across tabs.
3. Cross-Channel Identity Stitching
BizzBuzz's core value proposition is "The Conversation OS" — unifying a customer's journey whether they contact you via Web Chat, WhatsApp, Instagram, or Email. To make this possible, we deploy specialized identity cookies.
When a user interacts with the BizzBuzz web widget on your site, we assign them a unique cryptographic session identifier in local storage. Later, if they scan a WhatsApp QR code or open a Messenger link from your site, we stitch that browser session to their mobile numbers/social profiles.
This allows the AI Copilot to maintain conversational context even when the customer switches devices or platforms.
4. Telemetry and Growth Signals
To power our growth automation engine, we log behavioral signals via local storage queues. This includes detecting when a user visits your pricing page but abandons the chat context, triggering a "ghosted lead" flag in our backend.
We also use cookies to track A/B testing variants for Email and WhatsApp broadcasts, ensuring users consistently see Variant A or Variant B during an active test cycle to maintain data integrity.
5. Third-Party Integrations
Because BizzBuzz acts as a centralized routing hub for various APIs, third-party functional cookies may be loaded.
